Manually redacting hundreds of documents before due diligence takes days, and it is easy to miss something. In SECUDO VDR, artificial intelligence (the iDox engine) detects sensitive data on its own, and you simply approve its suggestions.

 

How it works:

 

 

 

 

 

 

The AI recognises 60 data categories, including

:

  • personal data: full name, PESEL number, address, contact details,

  • financial data: card number, IBAN, BIC/SWIFT code,

  • special categories of personal data under Art. 9 GDPR: ethnic origin, religious beliefs, sexual orientation,

  • health data: diagnoses, medication dosages, genetic data,

  • location data, measurement data and more.

 

In addition:​

  • permanent removal of metadata from the document,

  • preview and editing mode for anonymisation before approval,

  • choice of redaction colour: black or white,

  • a summary report listing active and removed anonymisations, documenting GDPR compliance.

The AI features run in the same secure environment as the rest of SECUDO VDR, with access control, activity logging and encryption. You launch translation and redaction directly in the data room, so documents never end up in external applications or on users’ private accounts. Processing takes place in the European Union, the AI engine providers do not store document content, and your documents are not used to train AI models.

We are working on an AI assistant that will let you ask questions about the documents stored in the data room, for example: “Which contracts contain a change of control clause?” The assistant will be based on Bielik, a Polish language model developed specifically for the Polish language.
